Camp Widjiitiwin 2024

“There really is nothing like camp!”

Every summer, we have the incredible opportunity to bring up to 80 kids from our community up to Camp Widjiitiwin!

This is a full camp experience on the beautiful MBC property outside of Huntsville, and includes activities like archery, canoeing, silly songs, rock climbing, basketball, skits, campfires, and more. Camp is truly a one-of-a-kind opportunity for kids to be kids (see the pictures below)!

Our staff team (and some of our own children) will be there alongside the camp staff, to provide a safe, fun, and unforgettable experience.

We also have spaces for High School students to volunteer with us and earn community service hours.

Widjiitiwin is a Christian camp and incorporates faith into the week, including a daily chapel, songs, and bible stories.

Ages & Dates

Our week at Camp Widjiitiwin is for those entering grade 3, up to those entering grade 9.

The dates are August 11th-16th (Sunday-Friday).

We will travel together by bus from South Etobicoke. Exact times and pick up location to be determined.

Cost

Read below for pricing options.

The cost for a week at camp is $900/camper + tax.
This covers accommodations, food, activities, and staffing requirements to make the week a safe and fun experience.

New for 2024, we are offering the chance to pay for camp at several pricing tiers, including the full camp fee, if possible. We encourage you to choose the level that best reflects your family’s ability to pay for camp.

Important: This system of paying for camp fees does not affect your child’s experience at Widjiitiwin in any way. Every camper will have the same incredible opportunity to enjoy the activities, programs, and fun of camp!

At the end of the day, our desire is that every child can come to camp this summer regardless of financial circumstances.
